Description

Design and analyze mechanical and electrical hardware mounting solutions for safety-critical nuclear plant systems. You'll work with cross-functional teams, create 2D/3D models using Inventor and AutoCAD, and ensure compliance with strict standards such as seismic and EMC.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in modeling/drafting of cabinets/electrical components
• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• US Citizenship or US Person status required
• Working knowledge of Inventor, AutoCAD, and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mounting structures for I&C hardware in nuclear power plants
• Create electrical schematics, connector panels, wire harnesses, and cable routing
• Perform 2D/3D mechanical design and analysis using Inventor and AutoCAD
• Support technical substantiation and program reviews
• Evaluate form, fit, function, and life of components relative to certified configuration
