💼 About This Role

You'll install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on vessels, working with AC/DC power distribution up to 1000V and high voltage cables. You'll ensure compliance with safety protocols and collaborate with other trades in a shipyard environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on vessels
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Perform cable terminations, connections, and testing

📋 Requirements

• Electrical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
• Understanding of AC/DC circuit operation and theory
• Experience with marine electronics such as AIS and radar

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with high voltage installations
• Knowledge of motor starters (NEMA ratings)
• Ability to train junior electricians
