💼 About This Role

You'll pair with a credentialed emergency veterinary technician to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced ER environment. You'll assist with triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care, building a foundation for emergency medicine. This unpaid externship offers flexibility in length and location, with real mentorship and future hiring opportunities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Pair with a credentialed emergency veterinary technician for mentoring
• Shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, and anesthesia
• Practice skills using your school's proficiency checklist
• Experience teamwork and pace of emergency care

📋 Requirements

• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program
• Current rabies vaccination or titer
• Able to lift up to 25 kg on own and 40 kg with assistance
• Must be able to stand for prolonged hours and work on the floor
