Description

You will lead the design, integration, and deployment of industrial robots/cobots for automated manufacturing systems at a national scale. Your work will involve programming robots, selecting end-of-arm tooling, designing cell layouts, and ensuring safety compliance to transform defense manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 4+ years of hands-on robotics and automation experience in manufacturing production
• Proficiency with FANUC and UR robots and simulation software (RoboDK, ROBOGUIDE, etc.)
• Strong understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, motion control, and safety standards
• Must be a U.S. Person

Responsibilities

• Select, design, and integrate industrial robots/cobots for manufacturing automation from concept to deployment
• Develop, optimize, and debug robot programs including motion planning, path planning, and vision-based guidance
• Specify and integrate end-of-arm tooling (grippers, sensors, custom tooling)
• Design robot cell layouts with safety enclosures and infrastructure
• Implement safety functions and enforce standards (ISO 10218, RIA R15.06)
