Description

You will lead and develop a team of experienced product managers, set strategic direction, build systems for clarity, and partner cross-functionally to scale technology that helps government leaders safely reduce incarceration. This role is key to Recidiviz's growth toward national impact.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management or related leadership roles.
• Experience leading and developing product managers and emerging leaders.
• Ability to define product strategy and translate ambiguity into clear priorities.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with engineering, design, and data science.
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows and a forward-looking approach to product management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing product management team, including mentoring experienced PMs and emerging leaders.
• Own the hiring engine from sourcing to close, including pipeline development, interview design, and offer process.
• Build systems for clarity and stability, evolving career ladder and performance frameworks in partnership with People Ops.
• Build cross-functional trust with engineering, design, data science, and policy; coach PMs in the same.
• Set strategic context defining direction and priorities for the PM team aligned with overall product strategy.
