💼 About This Role

You'll help build a large-scale, multi-cloud OLTP service on Postgres for a leading data cloud company. Your work will power some of the largest datasets in the world with high availability and disaster recovery solutions. This role offers the chance to tune Postgres at massive scale and work with AWS, Azure, and GCP.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Orchestrate Postgres databases via a Ruby application
• Work with AWS, Azure, and GCP APIs
• Build High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
• Tune Postgres to operate at scale
• Participate in an on-call rotation

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years experience designing large-scale systems
• Experience with distributed, fault-tolerant services
• Excellent understanding of low-level operating systems concepts
• Experience with Ruby and Go
• Experience running large Postgres servers

✨ Nice to Have

• Deep expert knowledge of Postgres internals
• Experience designing large systems for public/private clouds
• FedRAMP and DoD deployment experience
