Description

As a Senior Support Engineer on the Galileo Technical Operations team, you will design, manage, and support highly-available distributed systems in AWS. You'll ensure production reliability, improve efficiency, and mentor junior engineers while providing 24/7 on-call support and incident management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years AWS Cloud Experience
• Experience with log aggregation tools like Splunk, Datadog, Coralogix (DataDog strongly preferred)
• Strong Unix/Linux background and scripting skills (shell or Python)
• Experience writing Oracle SQL queries

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 on-call application support on a rotational basis
• Record all incident-related information in real time
• Maintain highly available and scalable services in production
• Participate in weekly deployments and change windows
• Mentor other engineers and support technical culture
