Description

You will service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft avionics and ground support equipment in support of test operations and sustainment activities. You'll modify, install, and test electronics and mechanical equipment as part of modification and test efforts, working with program leadership and cross-department teams to solve hard problems and change the industry.

Requirements

• 8+ years aircraft avionics experience
• 5+ years developmental flight test experience
• Active TS Clearance (investigation within 5 years or continuous evaluation)
• Experience with flight test instrumentation (strain gauges, accelerometers, string pots, wiring)
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and draft procedures

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft avionics and ground support equipment
• Modify, install, and test electronics and mechanical equipment for modification and test efforts
• Perform scheduled maintenance and functional checks on aircraft avionics, electrical, and subsystems
• Fabricate, upgrade, and modify aircraft harnesses, coax cables, and fiber optic with limited engineering guidance
• Load and maintain software configuration on aircraft and ground segment, including DTED, WX, aeronautical charts
