Description

In this role, you will grow Planet's government sales pipeline and book of business within the French Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces. You will identify, qualify, negotiate, and close large and medium-size deals, driving sales revenue targets through an extensive network and understanding of military operations and intelligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate professional experience
  • 6+ years of experience in software solutions/SaaS
  • 6+ years selling to government customers
  • Deep understanding of military operations and intelligence
  • Excellent relationships across French Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales pipeline to achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with Global D&I Sales team and Leadership
  • Prospect, close sales, and manage customer expectations
  • Engage prospects from identification through negotiation to contract
  • Manage contracting and government procurement process
