💼 About This Role

You'll work on real hardware and software systems that power our robotic factories, contributing directly to the deployment of gigawatts of clean electricity generation. You'll own a project and collaborate closely with our small engineering team. Based out of our East Bay HQ, you may travel to customer field deployments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, test, or manufacture mechanical, electrical, or software systems for robotic factory
• Collaborate cross-functionally on real engineering challenges affecting production timeline
• Document work, create validation procedures, or develop tools/automation
• Travel to customer field deployments to see work deployed

📋 Requirements

• Pursuing degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field (graduating 2027 or later)
• Hands-on experience with robotics projects (personal projects >> coursework)
• Comfortable in fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity and evolving priorities
• Able to relocate to SF Bay Area for summer 2026 and work 5 days/week in San Leandro HQ for 12 weeks

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience or coursework in robotics, industrial automation, controls, or manufacturing systems
• Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), programming languages (Python, C++), or electrical design software
• Projects involving mechanical systems, embedded systems, motor control, sensors, or factory automation
