Description

You will own the recommendation service, collaborating closely with the Silicon Valley team to build a world-class system. Your work will directly improve how millions of customers discover products on Coupang, from personalized gateways to product reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, CE, EE, or mathematics
• 3+ years experience with distributed systems, transactional datastores, and systems programming
• 3+ years with fundamental algorithms, system design, and large distributed systems
• 3+ years coding in C++, Java, Python, or Scala
• Experience building critical user-facing API platforms and solving complex scaling/performance problems

Responsibilities

• Own the Recommendation service, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with Silicon Valley team to build a world-class recommendation system
• Knit across teams (product managers, designers) to build holistic user experiences
• Lead product development from ideation to release, including prototyping, A/B testing, and scalable architecture
• Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop innovative consumer-facing mobile products
