💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design and development of Coupang's marketplace platform, building highly scalable distributed systems for tens of thousands of sellers. You'll own the full development lifecycle and mentor junior engineers, driving end-to-end sales experiences from catalog publishing to payment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable distributed systems for the marketplace platform.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams on feature requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Evaluate and select new technologies and tools.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years designing distributed systems using open-source software.
• Expertise in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Deep knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Hadoop or Spark frameworks.
• Full SDLC experience from requirements to production.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architectures.
