💼 About This Role

You'll develop and optimize chemical bath deposition processes for thin-film layers on flexible substrates in a roll-to-roll manufacturing environment. You'll own wet-chemical coating equipment, control bath chemistry, and scale processes from lab to high-volume production. This role directly impacts the performance of advanced aerospace products and offers the chance to work with cutting-edge R2R systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and optimize chemical bath deposition processes for thin-film layers.
• Operate roll-to-roll chemical coating equipment and control bath chemistry.
• Monitor real-time process variables and define control limits.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions.

📋 Requirements

• Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in chemical deposition for thin films (CBD, wet coating, etc.).
• Expertise in wet-chemical reaction control and bath kinetics.
• Experience operating roll-to-roll or web-based chemical processing equipment.

• Experience scaling chemical processes from lab to pilot to production.
• Knowledge of industrial chemical delivery systems and metering pumps.
• Familiarity with thin-film metrology (thickness, uniformity, optical properties).
