Description

In this role, you will perform operations and maintenance on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at commercial and industrial solar projects. You will troubleshoot equipment, conduct safety planning with pre-task and hazard assessments, and collaborate with vendors and customers. Your work ensures the reliability of critical renewable energy infrastructure.

Requirements

• 1-4+ years electrical proficiency relating to electrical systems and components
• Valid driver's license for at least one year
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for EHS requirements
• Ability to work rotating shifts and in varied climates

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on BESS equipment
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment as authorized person
• Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions including pre-task planning, JHAs, and RAs
• Interact professionally with vendors and customers
• Act as team member to support site work, possibly supervising field work onsite
