As a Lead Software Engineer on Amplify, you will provide technical oversight for internal tools, platforms, and AI-powered automation that help Klaviyos work more efficiently. You'll drive technical vision, lead complex projects, and mentor engineers, directly impacting how thousands of employees get their work done daily.

• Experience as a lead engineer turning real-world problems into reliable, scalable solutions.
• Ability to formulate and drive technical vision in partnership with Engineering Manager, Product, and stakeholders.
• Experience leading complex projects from discovery through implementation and long-term ownership.
• Strong mentorship and coaching skills to grow future technical leaders.
• Proficiency in using modern AI tools as part of daily engineering workflow.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for Amplify systems including internal apps, APIs, data pipelines, and AI workflows used by multiple teams.
• Drive technical vision for key Amplify domains aligned with AI-first strategy and business outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of complex multi-component projects spanning multiple internal customers and engineering teams.
• Act as primary technical interface between Amplify and rest of engineering, clarifying requirements and reducing ambiguity.
• Define and uphold operational standards including SLOs, monitoring, incident response, and post-incident learning.
