Description

You will develop, implement, and optimize production processes for key sub-assemblies and components of the Raptor engine. You'll partner with engineers and technicians to solve difficult problems and drive toward creating the most manufacturable and reliable hardware for one of the world's most powerful rocket engines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 1+ years experience with engine, fluid, or system design/development/fabrication/test
  • Experience with liquid rocket engines or pressurized fluid systems preferred
  • Knowledge of aerospace metals and joining processes preferred
  • Expertise in design for manufacturability preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing and integration processes for combustion device components
  • Conceptualize and drive innovative manufacturing processes for high-rate production
  • Collaborate with design engineers to create manufacturable and reliable engine hardware
  • Oversee introduction and implementation of new products and revisions
  • Resolve manufacturing nonconformance and implement corrective actions
