Description

You will apply advanced electrical engineering analysis to Nexamp's portfolio of solar PV and BESS assets, performing root-cause failure analysis and driving data-backed recommendations to improve reliability and performance. You'll optimize control schemes and operating strategies, working closely with Operations, Asset Management, and OEMs to bridge the gap between design intent and real-world performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with root-cause failure analysis
• Knowledge of protection schemes, relay settings, and plant control behavior
• Ability to analyze inverter logs, relay events, and waveform captures
• Expertise in PV and BESS performance optimization

Responsibilities

• Own plant protection, controls, and compliance strategy
• Engage with utilities on grid-interaction issues and negotiate solutions
• Improve system reliability by optimizing protection schemes and inverter control functions
• Lead data-driven reliability and loss reduction efforts
• Develop analytical models and diagnostic frameworks for PV and BESS fleet
