Description

Lead a mixed-age toddler classroom in a Montessori environment, creating a calm, purposeful space where curiosity and independence grow. You'll observe each child, prepare the classroom, and provide individualized lessons to support development of language, coordination, and self-regulation.

Requirements

• Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification or previous Montessori diploma
• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in group care or early learning setting
• Alignment with child-led educational approaches (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, etc.)
• ECE or Child Development credits
• Bachelor's degree in child-related field

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Prepare and maintain an orderly classroom fostering focus and independence
• Encourage toddlers to do things independently
• Provide lessons in practical life skills, language development, and grace and courtesy
• Build warm relationships with children and families, collaborating with parents
