You will lead engineering teams building Roku's ad serving platform, a highly scalable, real-time system critical to the ad business. You'll set technical vision, drive execution, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver core advertising features.

Requirements

• 14+ years building large-scale distributed backend systems
• 3+ years leading engineering teams
• Staff+ level technologist on complex, low-latency, revenue-critical systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team
• Set technical vision for scalability, stability, and performance of the Ad Serving platform
• Partner with business, product, and operations teams to build core product features
• Take ownership of impactful initiatives and make pragmatic technical decisions
