Description

You will design and implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects for national security, building and maintaining data infrastructure and processing systems. You'll work cross-functionally to develop code, automate data ingestion, and create data pipelines that drive business value and customer success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent) with at least 1 year professional experience, or Master's degree with strong academic project experience
• Experience with Python, Pandas, and Numpy; additional languages like Shell, PERL, Java, C/C++/C#, Scala
• Experience with relational, NoSQL, or file-based storage (MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, Hbase, DynamoDB)
• Experience building and maintaining ETL data pipelines

Responsibilities

• Develop code using programming/scripting languages to automate data ingestion and improve data management
• Architect data repositories, stand up data platforms, and develop data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and aggregation
• Review existing architecture and improve processes for data governance, data quality, and metadata management
• Extract and analyze raw data from multiple sources via APIs, SQL, or Python scripts
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced agile environment
