Description

As a Principal Engineer at Plata Card, you'll work across teams to define architectural principles, reduce system complexity, and align technical directions. You'll lead RFCs, architecture reviews, and incident analyses, partnering with senior engineers and leadership to drive sustainable technical decisions.

Requirements

• Experience in a large engineering organization (300+ engineers)
• Hands-on experience with complex distributed systems
• Proven impact on architectural decisions beyond your own team
• Strong system-level thinking and understanding of trade-offs
• Clear communication and ability to work through disagreement
