Description

In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of new facility construction and infrastructure projects at SpaceX's Rocket Development Facility, focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will own projects from start to finish to support rocket engine testing and world-class industrial facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management with 3+ years of construction experience, or 7+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience with electrical and power distribution systems (up to 600V AC)
• Knowledge of HVAC operation and design principles
• Experience with plumbing design and operation
• Ability to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces

Responsibilities

• Lead project team and contractors through MEP engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time
• Coordinate with electrical utility provider for reliable power service
