You will draft pleadings, manage case deadlines, and communicate with clients and courts, ensuring clients feel supported during emotionally sensitive family law matters like divorce and custody disputes.

Requirements

• 3+ years family law paralegal or legal assistant experience
• Associate's degree in paralegal studies or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
• Proficiency with legal software (Smart Advocate, Clio, MyCase, or similar)
• Onsite Monday–Friday 8 AM to 5 PM in Columbus, OH

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal documents
• Prepare financial disclosures, child support worksheets, and parenting plans
• Manage case calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Handle sensitive client data with discretion and accuracy
