💼 About This Role

You'll lead rotordynamic analysis and mechanical design of turbomachinery for a vertically integrated aerospace startup. Your work will directly enable high-speed supersonic flight and close aircraft performance gaps. This role offers the chance to shape cutting-edge propulsion systems in a flat, fast-moving engineering culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead rotordynamic analysis including critical speed and stability margins
• Select bearings and define preload, stiffness, and damping
• Define and execute test campaigns for rotordynamic validation
• Develop computational models with StarCCM+ and AxSTREAM

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in turbomachinery design with rotordynamic analysis ownership
• Hands-on experience with DyRoBes or equivalent rotordynamic tools
• Experience with CFD and compressor geometry development (StarCCM+, AxStream)
• Proficient in Siemens NX for rotating assembly CAD

• Experience with propulsion cycle tools (GasTurb, NPSS)
• Scripting skills in Python or MATLAB for analysis automation
• Effective communicator for cross-functional design reviews
