💼 About This Role

You'll architect and own Freshpaint's unified data model in Snowflake, building scalable dbt models that power product decisions, growth strategy, and customer outcomes. Your work will reduce metric fragmentation, eliminate ambiguity, and increase trust in data across the company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and own the unified data model in Snowflake using production-grade dbt models
• Build analytics-ready datasets as the single source of truth for KPIs
• Establish modeling standards, metric definitions, and governance frameworks
• Partner with Product and Engineering for reliable event instrumentation
• Develop datasets supporting experimentation, growth analysis, and advanced analytics

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI
• 3+ years of hands-on dbt experience building production-grade models
• Deep SQL expertise and strong dimensional modeling fundamentals
• Experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, and Looker

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Python for analytics or automation
• Experience operationalizing ML outputs into production workflows
• Familiarity with Airflow or workflow orchestration
