💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead the Digital Trust team in Japan, owning privacy and security policies aligned with APPI. You'll drive the PIMS lifecycle, incident management, and liaise with regulatory bodies including PIPC. This role offers high autonomy with a clear mandate to establish the privacy and security operating model from scratch.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and maintain privacy and security policies aligned with APPI
• Lead PIMS lifecycle and Privacy Mark certification process
• Drive privacy reviews and impact assessments across products
• Manage end-to-end privacy/security incident lifecycle

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in privacy/security compliance
• Strong understanding of APPI and Japanese regulatory requirements
• Experience in privacy review and incident management
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English

✨ Nice to Have

• Holds security certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM)
• Experience engaging with government or regulators on privacy/security
• Background in e-commerce or cross-border environments
