You will lead a team developing core trajectory planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles using numerical optimization. You will drive the delivery of safe and efficient motion planning systems, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor engineers to achieve commercial launch readiness.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing high-performing development teams.
  • Experience leading production-quality algorithm delivery in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or aerospace.
  • Deep expertise in numerical optimization and optimal control (MPC, nonlinear programming, convex optimization).
  • Experience solving motion planning problems under uncertainty with dynamic agents.
  • Expertise in modern C++ development in Linux environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a high-impact trajectory planning team, defining technical vision and execution strategy.
  • Drive commercial launch readiness by delivering on-road driving behavior improvements in safety, comfort, and assertiveness.
  • Apply metrics-driven framework to quantify and improve on-road performance.
  • Manage computational efficiency and real-time performance of trajectory generation algorithms.
  • Lead triage and root-cause analysis of fleet incidents, translating edge cases into algorithmic refinements.
