You'll build and optimize Elasticsearch-powered search services for a large-scale consumer product platform. You'll own end-to-end performance and relevance tuning while collaborating across multiple engineering teams. This role offers modern AI-augmented development workflows with tools like Cursor and Claude Code.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage and optimize Elasticsearch clusters in production
• Troubleshoot search performance and indexing issues
• Design improvements for scalability and cluster health
• Maintain and extend the Scala-based indexing service

📋 Requirements

• Elasticsearch production experience with high-traffic applications
• Scala development experience in distributed systems
• Expertise in indexing strategies, shard allocation, and query optimization
• Experience troubleshooting Elasticsearch cluster issues
