Description

You will lead the operational backbone of Mews' global Fintech business, building and scaling payment operations, fraud management, and compliance activities to support hypergrowth. Reporting directly to the SVP, GM of Fintech, you'll drive strategy, optimize processes, and lead a team to ensure robust, efficient, and regulatory-aligned operations.

Requirements

• Deep experience in fintech, payments, and regulated financial services
• Proven track record of optimizing and automating processes in a fast-paced environment
• Experience building and running high-performing operational teams
• Strategic leadership and hands-on operational execution
• Data-driven with ability to use KPIs to prioritize improvements

Responsibilities

• Own and execute fintech operations strategy for payments, fraud, and compliance
• Lead day-to-day payment operations across cards, SEPA, APMs, wallets, including settlements, reconciliation, and incident management
• Oversee fraud and risk operations: rule design, monitoring, investigations, and loss reduction
• Run chargeback and dispute operations to improve recovery rates and maintain scheme metrics
• Lead first-line compliance operations: KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening
