Description

You will architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and services to support route simulation, experimentation, analytics, and machine learning models, enabling data-informed decisions that impact Lyft's growth and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, Math, Statistics or related field
• 4+ years relevant professional experience
• Strong experience with Spark and scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash)
• Experience with databases, querying, and streaming technologies (S3, DynamoDB, HDFS, Hive, Presto, etc.)
• Experience with workflow management tools (Airflow, Oozie, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Owner of core data pipelines in mapping, scaling data processing flow
• Develop subject matter expertise, manage SLAs for pipelines and datasets
• Evolve data models and schemas for business and engineering needs
• Build tools for self-service ETL, schema evolution, and SQL tuning
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code, prioritize scalability and cost efficiency
