Description
As a Territory Account Executive at Square, you will own a market through disciplined in-person execution, spend most of your week in the field meeting businesses, delivering demos, and closing deals. You'll build pipeline from scratch, establish partnerships, and help local businesses grow using Square's ecosystem of software and hardware.
Requirements
- 3+ years full cycle closing sales experience with field sales
- Consistently exceeded sales targets
- Experience with business development (hunting and cold calling)
- Reliable transportation and reside in market
- Collaborative team player
Responsibilities
- Spend ~80% of the week in the field walking territory, engaging businesses, driving 50-60 targeted visits weekly
- Run full-cycle sales: generate leads, identify needs, deliver demos, close deals
- Build trust-based relationships with local sellers
- Develop repeatable top-of-funnel engine via door-to-door, events, partnerships
- Maintain operational rigor in Salesforce: track activity, manage pipeline, forecast
