Description

You will gain exposure to developing and implementing a transportation demand management plan for a major sports and entertainment destination, liaise with transportation stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The internship also includes mentoring, networking, and hands-on learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Transportation Planning/Engineering, Urban Planning, Geography/GIS, or similar
• Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS, Adobe Creative, and Microsoft Office suites
• Data ingestion and analysis skills
• Interest in sustainable transportation and demand management
• Knowledge of NYC government agencies is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive transport demand management plan
• Liaise with transportation stakeholders (MTA, LIRR, NYCT, etc.)
• Collaborate with multiple divisions including Mets Executive Leadership and Operations
• Participate in intern programming, volunteer events, and social activities
• Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
