Description

You will lead the manufacturing strategy for complex spacecraft hardware, covering the entire value chain from design for manufacturability through production. Drive cross-functional initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high-reliability products that meet space-grade standards.

Requirements

• 12+ years of manufacturing engineering in aerospace, space systems, or high-reliability industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of IPC-610/620 Class 3, J-STD-001 Space Addendum, NASA-STD-8739.
• Expert-level PCBA manufacturing knowledge (SMT, through-hole, conformal coating).
• Hands-on experience with MES and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of manufacturing processes for PCBAs, assemblies, and spacecraft systems per space-grade standards.
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFA) from concept through production, optimizing producibility and cost.
• Own quality assurance, lead root cause analyses and corrective actions, and mitigate risks via PFMEA and process validation.
• Specify and deploy advanced assembly tools, fixtures, and automation solutions using CAD/3D modeling.
• Implement and optimize MES, ERP/MRP workflows for traceability and efficiency.
