💼 About This Role

You'll build Northwood's supplier quality program from scratch as the company's first quality-focused hire. You'll define scalable manufacturing excellence across a global supply chain for space communications. This is a high-impact role creating structure from ambiguity.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and launch first supplier quality management system
• Identify, qualify, and develop world-class suppliers
• Lead audits, performance reviews, and corrective actions
• Define supplier KPIs and implement visibility tools

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field
• 7+ years in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, or Manufacturing Quality roles
• Experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, PPAP
• Proven success in qualifying and managing suppliers with measurable improvement

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in AS9100 environment
• Background in aerospace, satellite, telecommunications, or defense industries
• Hands-on experience with RF, PCBA, custom enclosures, or electromechanical assemblies
