💼 About This Role

You'll lead a team building Docker's cross-platform runtime for AI workloads, owning a custom VMM and container stack. Your core impact is delivering enterprise-grade isolation and governance for autonomous workflows. This role is at the center of Docker's shift to power AI agent infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead a team of 6–10 engineers building cross-platform runtime.
• Own the technical direction and roadmap.
• Partner with product management to align with business goals.
• Ensure predictable delivery and operational excellence.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years managing high-performing engineering teams.
• 5+ years hands-on systems programming (hypervisors, container runtimes, OS internals).
• Deep understanding of virtualization concepts (VMMs, hypervisors).
• Cross-platform systems experience across Windows, macOS, Linux.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with container runtimes (OCI, containerd, runc).
• Comfortable with high autonomy and remote work across time zones.
