Description

As a Development Test Technician, you will assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on flight and development engines, support test operations, and collaborate with engineers to improve processes. Witness rocket engine testing firsthand and contribute to SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years experience with complex mechanical systems, high-pressure systems, or heavy equipment
• 3+ years experience using power tools, hand tools, and calibrated tooling
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight quarters

Responsibilities

• Prepare test articles, stands, and systems for test operations
• Ensure timely and safe servicing of test stand equipment
• Perform post-test operations and inspections to maintain flight-worthy hardware
• Troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate hardware and equipment for test operations
• Operate and maintain high-pressure systems, pumps, and pneumatic components
