Description

As a State and Local Tax Senior Associate at Calvetti Ferguson, you will manage multi-jurisdictional tax compliance and consulting engagements, resolve tax notices, and communicate with government agencies. You will also mentor associates and interns while building expertise in state and local tax matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
• Active CPA/EA license required or actively pursuing
• 2-3+ years experience, preferably in public accounting
• Proficiency with pass-through entities and C corporations in state local tax
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare complex multi-jurisdictional income/franchise tax returns
• Manage project compliance and consulting engagements
• Resolve tax notices and communicate with government agencies
• Engage in state and local tax audits and advocacy
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns
