💼 About This Role

You'll lead the evaluation and advancement of data center development activities across our project portfolio. You'll shape and execute Rowan's development strategy, determining which sites to pursue and advancing them through due diligence and entitlements. This role requires strong strategic acumen and exceptional negotiation skills in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end site development for data center projects from diligence to construction
• Negotiate land acquisitions, development agreements, and commercial contracts
• Oversee land use, entitlements, permitting, and pre-construction workstreams
• Serve as primary liaison with authorities, stakeholders, landowners, and vendors

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years leading complex site development projects in data center or commercial real estate
• Proven success negotiating land, energy, water, and economic development agreements
• Experience working with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), utilities, and economic development agencies
• Strong experience leading cross-functional initiatives with responsibility for budgets, schedules, and risk management
