💼 About This Role

You'll own key parts of the monthly close process at Fi, a startup revolutionizing the pet industry with smart tracking technology. Your core impact includes strengthening financial reporting through precise journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. You'll also partner with teams to improve processes and support audits, making the financial backbone more scalable.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage monthly close process: journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for reporting
• Lead audit preparation and auditor communications
• Ensure accurate accounting for inventory, COGS, prepaids, accruals, revenue
• Partner with Strategic Finance and Supply Chain on operational data alignment

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–3 years of accounting experience with corporate or audit exposure
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks or similar)
