Description
You will provide practical, business-focused legal guidance to internal stakeholders on employment matters across North America. Partner with HR on the employee lifecycle, draft contracts, support investigations and litigation, and drive compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- J.D. and member of the Bar in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 5+ years experience advising multinational companies on federal and state employment and labor laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Employment litigation experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR to evaluate legal risks across the employee lifecycle
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment documents including offer letters, contractor agreements, and release agreements
- Assist with workplace investigations, employee claims, and disputes
- Support management of employment claims and litigation, including coordination with outside counsel
- Advise on workforce restructurings, reductions in force, and organizational changes
