Description

You will build and maintain software systems for the world's largest satellite constellation, ensuring safe operations and command/control capabilities. From design to deployment, you'll own the full lifecycle of code that runs both in space and on the ground.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or science with 1+ years of software dev experience OR 3+ years in lieu of degree
• Experience with Python or C++ and Linux programming
• Experience with distributed systems or consumer internet systems
• Production experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of version control, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software systems for managing thousands of satellites in low-earth orbit
• Accountable for all software written and its interactions with hardware and environments
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews
• Design software for vehicles in space and supporting ground systems
• Collaborate with other engineers to plan and organize development
