You'll design and develop observability features for an engineering platform product at Woven by Toyota, focusing on reliability and cloud engineering. You'll provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and participate in an on-call rotation to monitor and respond to incidents. This hybrid role is based in Tokyo.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop observability features for the engineering platform.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
• Participate in 8-hour on-call rotation covering weekdays, weekends, holidays.
• Conduct blameless post-mortems and address reliability issues through coding.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years in SRE, DevOps, cloud engineering, or observability engineering.
• Proficiency in Go or Python with strong software design knowledge.
• Expertise with APM solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, GCP Monitoring.
• Expertise with Kubernetes, public cloud, and Infrastructure as Code.

✨ Nice to Have

• Strong incident management and production on-call experience.
• Prior technical lead or team lead experience in SRE or Platform Engineering.
• AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes certifications; Japanese language skills.
