Description

You will participate in an accelerated training program at the SpaceX South Texas build site, qualifying for welding on Starship and Super Heavy vehicles. Under expert mentorship, you will master fabrication of cylindrical tanks, bulkheads, and large structures for flight-ready hardware, then join an elite team advancing multiplanetary vehicle production.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ month welding experience or welding certificate from accredited program within 2 years
• Ability to pass AWS D17.1 weld test
• Available for all shifts (day or night), overtime, and weekends
• Ability to stand 8+ hours, lift 25 lbs, work at heights up to 200 ft, and in confined spaces

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW class A welds on stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, Inconel, carbon steel
• Cut, trim, fit, and fabricate metal components per engineering drawings
• Collaborate with lead welder to assess weld procedures, material type, and rod size
• Modify, repair, assemble, and install launch vehicle structures and tooling
• Operate shop equipment including forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts
