Description

You will lead the design of piping systems for launch sites, test stands, and industrial facilities. You'll size equipment, select instrumentation, and translate owner requirements into reality using CAD and analysis tools, ensuring designs meet codes and budgets.

Requirements

• Intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles
• Strong knowledge of compressible/incompressible flow, thermodynamics, material selection
• Proficiency in Revit and Inventor for 3D design
• Experience with CAESAR II, AFT Arrow, AFT Fathom, Nastran
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and ASME BPVC Section VIII

Responsibilities

• Lead process mechanical and piping projects from inception to closeout
• Design fluid and gas handling systems including component sizing and selection
• Prepare reports, construction specifications, and cost estimates
• Coordinate with other disciplines and resolve design conflicts
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality
