Description

As a Mid/Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you will manage fire protection consulting projects, conduct building code reviews, and develop fire protection strategies for clients. You'll collaborate with design teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure projects meet client needs and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Fire Protection), Architecture, or related field
• Four years of professional Fire Protection Consulting experience
• Eight years of experience in Building Code and Fire Protection Consulting preferred
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection or NICET Level IV highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement a wide variety of consulting projects
• Satisfy client needs by completing tasks on schedule and within budget
• Conduct building and fire code reviews and analyses, including plan reviews and site visits
• Prepare and peer review project-related technical reports
• Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based approaches, and alternative solutions
