Description

You will lead the technical development of large aircraft from conceptual design through production, including vehicle layout, propulsion integration, and flight test. Your work will drive key air dominance and strike initiatives for defense applications.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of unmanned vehicles/robotics
• Experience in senior role leading programs from concept through test and delivery
• Strong understanding of vehicle and systems design rationale
• Experience creating teams and focusing them around a common vision
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Software engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and programmatic execution of air vehicle systems design, fabrication, test and productization
• Own technical and programmatic success of programs, establish vision, and assemble teams
• Set up trades to explore conceptual designs working with SMEs and Business Development
• Manage detailed design including requirements, sub-system trades, risk management
• Coordinate fabrication of prototype and low-rate production articles and system-level tests
