Description

You will support the development, production, and test of optical components for SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet system. You'll work in a multi-disciplinary team to design fixtures, mechanisms, and fluid systems for testing satellite hardware, own projects from concept to commissioning, and validate test system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering, physics, or other engineering discipline
• 1+ years of engineering design experience (internships, projects, or professional experience)

Responsibilities

• Design fixtures, mechanisms, and fluid systems for satellite testing
• Create detailed documentation including engineering drawings and schematics
• Use hand calculations and FEA to validate design decisions
• Manage multiple high-priority projects and communicate effectively
• Build, assemble, and operate test systems with technicians
