You'll design manufacturing tooling and fixtures for large-scale space structures like pressurized modules. You'll bridge design engineering and production to enable repeatable, safe, and efficient manufacturing. This role offers the chance to own complex projects from concept through test.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design custom tooling, jigs, fixtures for aerospace structures
• Develop tooling for welding, machining, and precision assembly
• Create detailed drawings using GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
• Manage schedule and budget for tooling projects

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Proven ownership of complex tooling projects for flight hardware
• Experience with CAD and analysis packages like NX and Simcenter 3D
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and GD&T (ASME Y14.5)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with metrology tools (laser trackers, CMM)
• Knowledge of aerospace quality systems (AS9100, NASA standards)
• Hands-on experience with welding fixture design for aluminum or stainless steel
