Description

You will design, build, and operate critical data infrastructure platforms such as lakehouse, replication, and orchestration to enable scalable data workflows. You'll ensure high availability and performance, contribute to architecture decisions, and improve developer productivity through automation and AI tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or data engineering
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and distributed systems
• Experience with data platforms including lakehouse architectures, replication, and orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Kafka, Trino, Iceberg)
• Demonstrated use of AI/agentic engineering tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to improve development efficiency
• Strong communication skills and ability to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate data infrastructure platforms (lakehouse, replication, orchestration, distributed compute)
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of platform services
• Contribute to infrastructure architecture decisions for large-scale modern data platforms
• Support data platform adoption and migration initiatives with engineering, analytics, and product teams
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead troubleshooting for complex production issues
