Description

You will be a key member of the engagement team, responsible for managing state and local tax compliance and consulting projects. You'll prepare complex multi-jurisdictional tax returns, resolve tax notices, communicate with government agencies, and mentor associates and interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent
• Active CPA/EA license or actively pursuing
• 2-3+ years of experience, preferably in public accounting
• Proficiency with pass-through entities and C corporations in state/local income/franchise tax
• Excellent technical tax research and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare complex multi-jurisdictional income/franchise tax returns
• Manage compliance and consulting engagements
• Communicate with government agencies and resolve tax notices
• Engage in state and local tax audits and controversy process
• Supervise, train, and mentor Associates and Interns
